Driver Requirements

1. For Delivery Drivers (Food, Groceries, Packages, Liquor):

  • Age: Must be at least 18 years old.
  • License: A valid Class 5 license.
  • Vehicle: Own a car (in good condition).
  • Insurance: Must have valid auto insurance.
  • Vehicle Registration: Provide proof of valid vehicle registration.
  • Liquor License: If delivering liquor, you must have a valid liquor smart serve/ProServe Certificate (varies by region).
  • Smartphone: iPhone or Android phone to use the Atadel Driver App.

2. For Ride-Hailing Drivers (Passengers):

  • Age: Must be at least 21 years old.
  • License: A valid Class 5 license with at least one year of driving experience. In some cities, a Class 3 license may be required.
  • Vehicle: A 4-door vehicle in good condition, not older than 10 years.
  • Insurance: Must have personal auto insurance with a rideshare endorsement or commercial insurance.
  • Vehicle Registration: Proof of valid vehicle registration is required.
  • Vehicle Inspection: The vehicle must pass an inspection to ensure it meets safety standards.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check with a clean driving record and no serious violations in the past 7 years (e.g., DUIs, reckless driving).
  • Additional Requirements: Some cities may require rideshare licenses or special permits.

Yes, to deliver liquor, you must have a valid liquor delivery license as required by your local government. Be sure to check your regional guidelines before applying.

You must be at least 18 years old to deliver food, groceries, and packages. For ride-hailing services, the minimum age is 21 years.

You will need:

  • A valid driver’s license.

Yes, if you meet the requirements for both services, you can switch between delivery and ride-hailing based on your preferences using the Atadel Driver App.

Currently, drivers must have access to their own car to provide services on the platform. Atadel does not provide vehicles or rental options.

Earnings depend on the number of trips you complete. You get paid per delivery or ride, plus any tips. Payments are made weekly via direct deposit, and you can also access daily payouts through the app’s instant pay feature (coming soon).

No, you have the flexibility to log in, go online and work whenever it suits you. There’s no need to commit to a specific schedule.

You’ll need to update your documents whenever they expire (e.g., license, insurance, registration). Atadel will notify you through the app when updates are required.
