🧡 Our Story: Built From Experience. Driven by Community.

When our CEO (Ayo) first moved to Canada in 2012 as an international student, settling in Winnipeg, he faced a harsh reality: finding Nigerian food or African groceries that he was used to, was nearly impossible. With no car and no nearby options, getting the essentials meant taking 2 to 3 buses across the city just to visit a single store downtown. He quickly had to get used to grabbing cheeseburgers from the local McDonald’s while dreaming of jollof rice.

When our COO (Temi) arrived in Canada in 2015, he faced the same struggle.

Canada is one of the world’s most multicultural countries, yet mainstream delivery platforms continue to overlook diverse communities. And while many new tech companies have launched in the convenience space, none of them were created to truly serve newcomers, immigrants, and underrepresented cultures especially when it comes to food, which is one of the most powerful ways to express identity and heritage.

So they waited. They hoped someone, any of the tech giants, would eventually do something about it.

But nothing changed.

During all that time, they worked across every major gig platform: SkipTheDishes (where Temi signed up restaurants alongside the founders when they started), Instacart, and DoorDash. They did everything from customer service to business development, to actually making deliveries. They experienced firsthand what was broken as customers, as drivers, and as partners.

In 2019, they both relocated to Edmonton, Alberta. By 2020, they knew they had to stop waiting and build the solution themselves.

🌱 From MVP to Super App.

In 2021, we launched a simple grocery delivery MVP, built for underserved communities. It wasn’t fancy, but it solved a real problem.

Soon after, local restaurants began reaching out, hoping to join the platform to avoid the high fees and commissions of bigger platforms. Vendors wanted help delivering meals. Families asked if we could help send packages. The demand was growing and our vision was evolving.

So we took the leap.

We began building what is now the Atadel Super App – a platform designed to let anyone Eat, Shop, Ride & Send, all in one place. It launched in 2024 with services tailored to real people and real communities.

And yes, we added rideshare because why not? If we can offer a more affordable ride option while supporting our drivers and customers better, we’re all in.

Our Mission

To make life easier by connecting people to the services they need, from food and groceries to rides and on-demand delivery, all in one single platform.

Our Vision

To become the most trusted platform for essential services, connecting communities through technology, and making everyday access easier, faster, and more inclusive.
